This,\nalong with our strong global dealer network, has made the HondaJet the most\ndelivered aircraft in its class,&#8221; said Honda Aircraft Company President\n&amp; CEO Michimasa Fujino. &#8220;The HondaJet finishing as the most delivered\naircraft for the second consecutive year is a testament to our team&#8217;s dedication\nto developing cutting-edge technologies that improve the lives of our customers\naround the world.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Honda Aircraft Company has fully transitioned its aircraft\nproduction line from the original HondaJet to the HondaJet Elite and will\ncontinue to offer the performance package developed by the Advanced Performance\nModification Group (APMG) for the original HondaJet. The company expects to\nmaintain production of four to five aircraft per month.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout 2018, Honda Aircraft Company marked several major\nmilestones, including the introduction of the HondaJet Elite, the creation of\nthe APMG performance package and the customer delivery of the 100th HondaJet.\nThe company also received the American Institute of Aeronautics &amp;\nAstronautics&#8217; (AIAA) 2018 Foundation Award for Excellence for setting a new\nstandard in business aviation with the HondaJet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2018, the HondaJet Elite received type certification from the Japan Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) and delivered the first aircraft to a customer in Japan.
