The purpose of Aviation &amp; Aerospace Day is to recognize\nOklahoma\u2019s aviation and aerospace industry as a vital economic engine for our\nstate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to an overwhelming response, booth registration is now closed.\u00c2\u00a0 Sandra Shelton, Public Information &amp; Government Affairs Liaison for the Oklahoma Aeronautics Commission said they are honored to have more than 70 exhibitors registered for this exciting advocacy day, career fair, and military appreciation assembly day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many of the state\u2019s top aerospace entities will be participating\nand will have exhibit booths set up around the fourth and second floor rotundas\nto promote their organizations and to show what impact they and the rest of the\nstate\u2019s aerospace industry have on Oklahoma\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is a unique opportunity for industry officials to\ncome together in one unified voice and meet with state legislators and other\nelected officials to remind them of Oklahoma\u2019s strong aviation heritage and\nshow them firsthand how the industry continues to solidify our state as a\nworldwide leader in aviation, aerospace, and aerospace and defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aviation and Aerospace industry officials and workforce, military, pilots, aircraft owners, educators, students, and more should make plans to attend. The event is free but attendees are asked to register so they may assist with event updates and up-to-the-minute information. Check in will be on the\nfirst floor and will begin at 7:30 am. The main event will occur on the fourth\nfloor rotunda beginning at 9:30 am.&nbsp;\nSpeakers will begin around 10:00 am and lunch will be served to regular\nticket holders at 11:30 am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lunch tickets are available separately for $10 per person\nplus the Eventbrite fee. Available amount of lunch tickets is limited due to\nspace.
