Now his legendary\nachievements as a pilot in commercial, business, military, racing and test\nflights will inspire a new generation of aerospace leaders at Wings Over the\nRockies\u2019 (Wings) Exploration of Flight Campus at Centennial Airport in\nEnglewood, Colorado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201cClay Lacy Field of Dreams Flight Ramp\u201d will be a launch\npad for future aviators who visit the Boeing Blue Sky Aviation Gallery at\nExploration of Flight. The major gift will help expand the 77,000 sq. ft.\nflight ramp to accommodate additional flight activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Field of Dreams Flight Ramp is a perfect place to\nrecognize Clay Lacy\u2019s renowned career throughout the national aviation\ncommunity,\u201d said Wings\u2019 President and CEO Maj Gen, John Barry, USAF (Ret). \u201cHis\ngenerosity will help create a focal point for America\u2019s future aviators, right\nhere in Colorado.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Boeing Blue Sky Aviation Gallery provides year-round\nactivities that interact with the Flight Ramp.&nbsp;\nExhibits and programs provide visitors a \u201cliving hangar\u201d with all\ndimensions of the flight experience. Wings volunteers have already provided\nhundreds of flights for area young people, teachers and those interested in\naviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wings Over the Rockies recognized Lacy in 2016 for his\ncareer in aviation, which included several connections to Colorado.
