It took just 16 months to achieve the\nmilestone from the date of the first installation \u2013 one of the fastest adoption\nrates of any inflight connectivity system for business aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With more than 770 systems shipped to date, AVANCE L5 is\nGogo\u2019s most-popular inflight connectivity system, delivering a 4G experience to\na wide variety of business aircraft. From the time AVANCE L5 launched in the\nfourth quarter of 2017, nearly 55,000 flights have taken off with the system\nonboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe experience has been incredible, and the system\ncontinues to deliver performance that is delighting our customers,\u201d said Sergio\nAguirre, president of Gogo Business Aviation. \u201cAnd demand from the marketplace\ncontinues to be strong. I\u2019m so proud of our team because they have truly\ndelivered a market disrupting platform with AVANCE that forms the basis of our product\nportfolio.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gogo and its OEM partners and dealers have received\ncertification for AVANCE L5 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)\nacross 79 aircraft models. The system is actively being installed at all MROs\nand aftermarket OEM service centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Gogo AVANCE L5 system connects to the Gogo Biz 4G\nnetwork delivering faster speeds and enhanced network capacity enabling\nactivities such as live streaming video and audio, video conferencing,\non-demand movies, faster web browsing, personal smartphone use, real-time data\nfor cockpit apps, and remote diagnostics and support while in flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Early in 2018 Gogo also launched AVANCE L3, a system that\ndelivers the benefits of the Gogo AVANCE platform to passengers and flight\ndepartments in a lightweight, smaller form factor compared to L5. AVANCE L3,\nwhich currently has nearly 170 systems installed, allows users to customize\ntheir inflight experience based on their unique needs and can be installed on\nbusiness aircraft of all types and sizes, but is an ideal solution for smaller\naircraft including turboprops and light jets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In total, at the end of the third quarter 2018, Gogo\nBusiness Aviation reported 5,019 aircraft flying with its air-to-ground (ATG)\nsystems onboard and another 5,137 utilizing satellite connectivity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gogo Business Aviation has announced that its most robust and highest-performing system \u2013 Gogo AVANCETM L5 \u2013 has been installed and is now flying on 500 business jets.
