As a founding partner and member of the executive circle of iWOAW, Sennheiser participated as a key sponsor in the event through its Live Your Dream program, which encourages people of all genders and backgrounds to experience the thrill of aviation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">According to iWOAW, many females choose not to participate in air and space industry because they are not aware of the opportunities available to them. In a Women Of Aviation Worldwide survey, 76 percent of girls and women questioned said they had never considered seeking information about aviation opportunities before hearing of the 2013 Women Of Aviation Worldwide Week. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Each year, the Women Of Aviation Worldwide Week takes place the week of March 8, the anniversary of the first worldwide female pilot certificate. Women Of Aviation Worldwide Week aims to foster diversity in aviation by celebrating history, raising awareness, and sparking vocations as girls and women are introduced to aviation during female-centric events offering aviation related activities and\/or discovery flights in small aircraft.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">&quot;We are proud to be a premier sponsor of Women Of Aviation Worldwide Week and continue to support the iWOAW in their mission,&quot; commented David Dunlap, Director, Sennheiser Aviation. &quot;Sennheiser celebrates women of aviation, and we would like to encourage other aviation oriented companies and organizations to join us in supporting this proactive and important outreach program.&quot;<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Sennheiser&#8217;s &quot;Live Your Dream&quot; program, originally launched in 2011, is designed to motivate and assist people with a passion for flying to overcome the barriers and begin flight training as a first step towards becoming a pilot and living their dream.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The program includes a Flight Training Scholarship Competition, which awards several scholarships valued at a minimum of $1,500 each to chosen participants, and also features educational and motivational lectures to the general public on issues such as hearing safety and other relevant topics. Most recently, the company is sponsoring Captain Judy Rice, executive director of Fly to Learn and founder of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thinkglobalflight.org\/\">Think Global Flight<\/a>, as she helps inspire students and promotes STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education by flying around the world this September. In the recent past, Sennheiser has supported commercial pilot <a href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\\Users\\Stevens\\Downloads\\Captain Judy Rice, who is executive director of Fly to Learn and founder of Think Global Flight, is trailblazer and modern-day pioneer in aviation education.
