(JSSI), has announced that Jake Gerstein has been named chief information officer. Gerstein brings to the company more than two decades of experience across the financial, communications and professional services sectors. At JSSI, he will be responsible for leading the company\u2019s technology initiatives and objective of bringing enhanced data and insight to support JSSI clients and operations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJake is a world-class technology and data expert. He\u2019ll play a key leadership role as JSSI continues to experience significant growth across multiple lines of business,\u201d said Neil W. Book, president and CEO of JSSI. \u201cI look forward to working closely with him as we look to deliver the next generation of products and services to the industry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very excited to join JSSI given its track record of innovation, rich data set and domain expertise, as well as enthusiasm for technology,\u201d commented Gerstein. \u201cThere are tremendous insights to be realized from mining the extensive JSSI data and many opportunities to deliver transformative services to the global business aviation market. I look forward to applying my experience to JSSI\u2019s endeavors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Gerstein played a leading role at West Monroe Partners where he developed and implemented an innovative IT strategy, including application architecture and IT service delivery. His 20-year career includes roles with Computershare, UBS and Perot Systems.<\/p>\n<p>JSSI manages over 8,000 maintenance events each year and covers almost every make and model of business and regional jet, turboprop and helicopter.
