{"id":1057,"date":"2012-10-28T05:38:06","date_gmt":"2012-10-28T05:38:06","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2012-10-28T05:38:06","modified_gmt":"2012-10-28T05:38:06","slug":"phoenix-deputy-aviation-director-wins-prestigious-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/state-news\/arizona\/phoenix-deputy-aviation-director-wins-prestigious-award\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Phoenix Deputy Aviation Director Wins Prestigious Award"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport&rsquo;s Deborah Ostreicher, Deputy Aviation Director for Public Relations,<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/\\wp-content\\uploads\/Ostreicher, Deborah 2012edit.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"149\" align=\"right\" alt=\"\" \/> is the recipient of the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce&rsquo;s 2012 ATHENA Public Sector Award. &nbsp;The ATHENA Awards recognize women in the public and private sectors for their professional accomplishments, strong commitment to the community and mentorship of women.<\/p>\n<div>Ostreicher (shown at right) is a recognizable figure at America&rsquo;s Friendliest Airport&reg;. &nbsp;With 16 years of experience at the Phoenix Aviation Department which owns and operates Phoenix Sky Harbor, Phoenix Deer Valley and Phoenix Goodyear Airports, Ostreicher manages the Airport&rsquo;s media, public relations, customer service and air service initiatives. &nbsp;Her extensive community involvement includes mentoring children and serving on the Board for New Pathways for Youth, an organization which provides support for the community&rsquo;s homeless children.
