Funding for the aviation program comes from the state&#8217;s jet fuel tax and leverages more than $1.2 million in local matching funds. Public-use airports in the state are eligible for the aviation development program.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<p><!--break--><\/p>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The state has 133 public-use airports and heliports and 15 of those airports have scheduled commercial service.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>For more information, visit www.dot.state.pa.us and then click on the &quot;2013 State Transportation Program&quot; button, or call 717-783-8800.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Allegheny County: Allegheny County Airport &#8212; $1.1 million to rehabilitate the electrical infrastructure for the public parking lot and adjacent areas, as well as improve power-generation capacity to accommodate nighttime operations.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Armstrong County: McVille Airport &#8212; $622,500 to improve the airfield fuel facility and continue runway construction with navigation lighting installation.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Beaver County: Zelienople Municipal Airport &#8212; $397,500 to continue extending and improving the airport access road and hangar area.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Berks County: Reading Regional\/Carl A.
