Lindbergh Foundation Partners with Rich Sugden to Donate Husky to Kenya Wildlife Service

TAMPA, Fla. (Nov. 5, 2009) — At the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) Summit today, the Lindbergh Foundation announced that its efforts to facilitate the donation of a Factory-new 180HP A1C Husky to the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) have been accomplished.

For six years, highly acclaimed aerobatic pilot and environmentalist Patty Wagstaff has helped the KWS pilots to become safer pilots, by teaching them aerobatic and maneuvering skills that are useful when helping to seek out elephant poachers in the Game Reserve.

Good morning, and thank you, Ed [Bolen], for the invitation.

I just got back from Osaka and Beijing on Friday, and for good measure threw in a 24-hour trip to and from Las Vegas to speak to some FAA managers yesterday. What I’m saying is that I’ve had a lot of time — about 44 hours just on airplanes during the last nine days — to think about NBAA and what to say to NBAA. I’d like to make two pitches:  one for SMS, the second for professionalism.
