Washington State Asks for Help to Debug and Check-Out New Aircraft Registration System

If you want a chance to have the first look at the new online aircraft registration system, the Washington State Department of Transportation Aviation Division would appreciate your help. Prior to the official launch of the new system, the agency will complete an internal and external testing phase.

If you are interested in participating in a mock trial of the aircraft registration before it goes live, please email WSDOT Aviation Customer Service Specialist Tracy Paul at aviation@wsdot.wa.gov.

Over the years, WSDOT Aviation has received suggestions on how to improve the registration system, which has not changed since 2002.

The updated registration system will have new features including:

Pay registration fees for multiple aircrafts simultaneously.

Request an exemption from your account.

Report a sale from your account.

Add an aircraft to your account.

Option to print registration certificates at home or work or have WSDOT print it for you.

View and update account information.

Update aircraft location.

View details of aircraft.

View payment history.

Update aircraft n-number.

The new registration system is scheduled to launch in July 2019.
