Phoenix Sky Harbor International Aviation Symposium Celebrates 20 Years

This year will mark the 20th anniversary of the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Aviation Symposium, in what has grown to be the world’s premier aviation conference.  Since 1992, when Phoenix first launched the annual aviation symposium, the global aviation industry has evolved considerably. However, what has remained consistent through the years has been the high-caliber guests and individuals who attend and participate in the Phoenix International Aviation Symposium each year.
The Symposium will take place at the historic Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix – April 6 – 8.

The Symposium brings top aviation and government officials from around the globe together in Phoenix to discuss and closely examine issues facing the industry. Many of aviation’s top experts and airline executives return annually to take part in what has become “the most exclusive gathering in the industry.”

US Airways CEO, Doug Parker and airline executives from around the globe will participate throughout the conference. George T. Whitesides, of Virgin Galactic, will be the keynote speaker on April 8. Whitesides is a former NASA administrator, a graduate of Cambridge and Princeton universities and a Fullbright Scholar. Journalists will have immediate access to great story ideas, items and trends for the future. The conference agenda is available at http://skyharbor.com/pdf/2011SymposiumAgenda.pdf.
