The Trig Aerobatic Team has landed – Ultimate Warbird Flights take off!

TRIG Team FiniAfter five years of display flying, Trig Aerobatic Team pilots Richard Grace and Dave Puleston have finally landed their bright yellow Pitts aircraft for the last time. This marks an exciting change in direction – both pilots remain committed to working with Trig Avionics and promoting their products under a new venture – Ultimate Warbird Flights.

Jon Roper, Marketing Manager at Trig said, “Dave and Richard are a superb part of our story. The TAT team has generated enthusiasm and pleasure as air show crowds have appreciated their close formation display. Richard and Dave are great advocates for our products and we are excited to continue our relationship, as they expand their war bird flying.”

Under the Trig banner the team has safely conducted hundreds of impressive aerobatic displays – flying VFR throughout the UK and Europe and meeting many pilots at GA airfields. Pausing to refuel their Pitts S1 aircraft, and grabbing the obligatory bacon roll or burger, the guys have enjoyed talking about and promoting grass roots aviation – something Trig Avionics is committed in supporting.

Richard Grace said, “We are very grateful to the guys at Trig for the opportunity to profile their products. Our new venture Ultimate Warbird Flights, allows pilots and members of the public to join us in the air – flying in some of the most historic and famous vintage aircraft in the skies. If you fancy a flight in a Spitfire, this is now possible.” Richard plans to develop the scope of display flying and film work too, whilst raising the profile and international reach of the aircraft that are in his care.

Richard added, “Our future plans are still in development but we have really loved working with our friends at Trig, their transponders and radios have performed brilliantly. We are looking forward to working with Trig as they continue to grow in both domestic and international markets.”

Jon Roper added, “Ultimate Warbird Flights is a superb backdrop for our avionics, who does not dream of flying in a Spitfire or Mustang? Well now you can, with a Trig transponder or radio of course!”
